Police call for witnesses to Clevedon crash

Counties Manukau Police Serious Crash Unit is looking for information on a fatal crash which occurred early yesterday (25 June 2015) morning on Papakura Clevedon Road.

It appears the driver of a blue Holden Commodore lost control and collided with a power pole at around 12:50am.

This resulted in the vehicle overturning and coming to rest in a small river.

The 18 year old male driver died at the scene.

Police would like to speak with anybody who may have any information about the crash.

Anyone with information can contact crash investigator Constable Neil Holyoak on 09 261 1310.

Information can be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
