Serious Crash - State Highway 25, Waitakaruru - Waikato
At about 6.15am this morning a car and a truck collided on State Highway 25 near Back Miranda Road.
The truck is a fully laden truck and trailer and is blocking the road.
Diversions are in place with East bound traffic being diverted onto Canal West Road , West bound traffic onto State Highway 2 and on to Canal East Road.
State Highway 25 is closed between Miranda Back Road and Miranda Front Road and is expected to be closed for most of the day. The truck driver and the car driver are seriously injured, a passenger from the car has moderate injuries.. Emergency services are at the scene and the crash will be investigated by the Police Serious Crash Unit.
