Moment of reflection and remembrance following Paris terrorist attack

In homage to the victims of the Paris attacks and in support of all those who have been touched by these horrific acts, a moment of reflection and remembrance will be held on Tuesday 17 November, at Civic Square from 5.00pm, in the presence of the Ambassador of France, H.E. Mrs Florence Jeanblanc-Risler, and the Mayor of Wellington, Her Worship Mrs Celia Wade-Brown.

All are welcome to attend.

A book of condolences will be available at Civic Square for those who wish to write a message of support or tribute. The book will remain in the main Council building foyer until Friday evening

Venue: Wellington City Civic Square open from 5pm

Speakers: Planned to begin from 5.45pm

Lighting of candles and signing of Book of Condolence to follow
