eVentures Appoints GM Of MessageMedia
eVentures announced today that Mr Chris Price has been appointed to MessageMedia as General Manager.
Recently launched by eVentures NZ Limited, MessageMedia is the USA's leading provider of permission based e-messaging solutions. Its services include information delivery, e-message marketing, research and e-commerce messaging solutions to help businesses build effective, personal relationships with their customers and potential customers.
Mr Price has an extensive background in e-commerce business development. In his most recent position as eCommerce Channel Manager at Datamail, he was responsible for national business revenue from e-opportunities.
CEO of eVentures New Zealand, Cindy Mitchener, said Mr Price's knowledge of electronic business strategies and his proven successes in winning business and exceeding sales targets in competitive environments were key reasons for his appointment.

Mr Price brings to the position a wealth of experience in developing and selling new technology products, gained during a successful sales and management career. He joined Datamail in 1992, winning substantial new business that fuelled the dramatic growth of the company. Through his understanding of both customer needs and Datamail's capabilities, Mr Price assisted corporates in delivering business solutions, consistently delivering multi-million dollar revenues.
Since becoming Datamail's eCommerce Channel Manager, Mr Price has been successfully repositioning Datamail as a credible supplier of e-commerce solutions, and as a key player in the electronic document presentation and payment market. Mr Price also designed, installed and managed Datamail's initial website.
Mr Price took up his position as MessageMedia's General Manager on the 23rd of August, 2000.
