New Quest Serviced Apartment Complex Opens in Auckland
The latest addition to the Auckland accommodation scene is Quest on Nelson, a 47 one and two bedroom serviced apartment complex that has been built in Nelson Street, designed to serve both the business market and the tourist leisure market, by giving easy access to the motorways, and fabulous Auckland Harbour sea views from every apartment.
Part of the Quest Serviced Apartment Group, which has now got 16 complexes under franchise in the main locations of Auckland, Taupo, Wellington, Christchurch, and soon Invercargill. Quest on Nelson has got a unique ownership structure, being owned by Raman Sarin and his wife Anu, who after 20 years of hospitality hotel management experience in India and Australia, arrived in New Zealand seven years ago to work at the Parkroyal in Wellington. They then purchased their first Quest business (Quest on Terrace) in Wellington, closely followed by the purchase of the Quest Wellington, and then opened a brand new Quest property in Christchurch last year. They have now opened Quest on Nelson in Auckland.
Raman comes from a background of interest in hospitality, and with his wife and two sons and their growing staff, is really committed to offering private family-influenced accommodation within the apartment lifestyle options.
Raman is perhaps best known for the business he started in Wellington, called the Curry Club, which was opened by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Tourism from India, and very quickly became as the top place to go in Wellington for delectable food and entertainment.
Raman, through his ownership of three Quest Franchises, now has the ability to provide accommodation in three main cities - Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch - and bring together his experience from India, Australia, and Austria to really provide accommodation that is suitable for the business traveller or even the leisure weekend traveller.
Enjoying the challenges of setting up new properties, and new ventures in New Zealand, the Sarin family are certainly going to be good investors in the hospitality industry within New Zealand.
Quest on Nelson, their Auckland property, has the advantages of access off either Nelson Street or Hobson Street, and yet is in the quiet zone of apartment living away from the busy noise of the inner city, yet close enough, within walking distance of Sky City, the restaurants, the Aotea Centre, and much more.
Apartment living is rapidly becoming the norm for busy travellers who love the extra bit of space, like the views and the ability to maintain their own lifestyles by cooking when they want to, or doing laundry while they're travelling, or just chilling out with a little bit of space.
Quest on Nelson - a wonderful addition to the New Zealand accommodation facilities, based in Auckland, and another success for Raman.
