A Windy Wellington Tree With Stormy Style

A Windy Wellington Tree With Stormy Style.
This morning in the Capital a tree covered with bright red umbrellas bought a smile to the faces of passing commuters, adding a dash of colour to the wintery Wellington morning.
The eye-catching installation was created by boutique PR agency fresh pr, to celebrate the recent opening of top New Zealand fashion label Storm’s Wellington store.
Deborah Caldwell, founder of Storm says “We’ve been open for a week now and the umbrella tree is our way of showing that a Storm really has blown into Wellington”.
Today’s fashion fuelled bluster was particularly evident near the Storm store at 49 Willis Street in the CBD. One unsuspecting commuter’s umbrella was completely demolished and left destroyed in a nearby rubbish bin.
“Wellington has a great creative energy that really inspires us. We’ve been waiting to get into the Capital for three years and we’re really excited to be here”, says Caldwell.
Women of Wellington can now purchase clothes and accessories from the Storm’s Spring 2010 Collection. Bridging the gap between designer boutiques and chain stores, Storm enables women to look stylish, classic, and up-to-date all at the same time, without the scary price tag, or the downside of mass-production.
