‘United Nations’ Branch Moves to State-of-the Art Premises

Tradestaff’s Queenstown branch has moved into a brand new building in the town’s recently developed Searle Lane.

Tradestaff Managing Director Kevin Eder says this is great news for the company and for Queenstown staff, who are now located in the heart of the town.

“We’ve moved into a new building which is truly state-of-the-art. The move made perfect business sense, as we are now situated in a high-profile area in Searle Lane, opposite Joe’s Garage and conveniently located behind Nomads Backpackers,” he says.

Tradestaff is one of New Zealand’s leading recruitment and placement companies, supplying temporary and permanent workers to the trade sector.

The Queenstown branch opened in October 2004 and Kevin Eder says the recent move reflects how strongly Tradestaff values the region’s business opportunities.

“We love the variety of work that comes our way in Queenstown. It’s totally different to any of our other branches, due to the transient nature of the area. Our temp pool is mostly made up of travellers and therefore the Queenstown office has become known as the ‘United Nations’ branch,” he says.

“Tradestaff has provided staff to most of the big commercial projects that have taken place in Queenstown since we opened in 2004. But we’re equally proud of the work we’ve done assisting many small, local businesses.”

The company recently appointed a new Southern Area Manager based in Dunedin, Steve Aydon, who has responsibility for the Queenstown and Dunedin branches.
