Evidence Technology expands with specialist Law & Justice appointment
Evidence Technology is expanding its New Zealand operation with the appointment of Gerry Grenier to the new position of Divisional Manager Law & Justice Sector. He is responsible for all services and stakeholder relationships across the Justice Sector in New Zealand.
Evidence Technology specialises in the design, implementation and support of digital evidence recording technology, audiovisual systems, and video conferencing solutions across the Justice, Legal, and Commercial sectors. The company has recently completed a number of significant projects in the Justice sector, including the complete fit-out of the new Supreme Court complex in Wellington and a major upgrade to the technology in courtroom one of the Auckland High Court. Courtroom one is a listed heritage building, so the implementation had to meet Historic Places Trust requirements.
“Through successful projects like these, we have gained significant traction with the Ministry of Justice and other key stakeholders,” says John Abbott, Country Manager for Evidence Technology NZ. “The appointment of Gerry Grenier as an executive with exclusive focus on Law & Justice demonstrates our commitment to broadening and deepening our relationships across the sector. It will also enable us to better serve our customers’ requirements with specialised domain knowledge, people skills and technical capabilities.”
Gerry Grenier specialises in ICT and Audio/Video services with a focus on customer services planning, design, implementation, operational improvement and change management. He has over 30 years experience with technology vendors, service providers, and end-users in the government and telecommunication sectors. He has extensive international experience in the United States, Latin America, Mediterranean, Middle East, and the Asia/Pacific regions.
