Lexmark Appoints New General Manager for Australia & New Zealand

AUCKLAND - 11 July 2011 - Lexmark International Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today announced the appointment of Carmel Mosser as the company’s new General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Carmel’s appointment will play a critical role in supporting Lexmark’s continual growth strategy and driving its leadership position in the print and imaging products and solutions market throughout Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Having worked for Lexmark ANZ for more than six years, and in the IT industry for more than 20, Carmel brings a wealth of experience and industry expertise to her new role as General Manager.

Carmel’s primary objective in this new role is to increase the company’s customer portfolio across its extensive range of innovative printing and imaging products, software, solutions and services.

Additionally, Carmel will directly drive and support the sales and business relationship management teams, developing strategies to support uptake of the company’s award winning range of print devices. She will also play an integral role in driving momentum for Lexmark’s focused vertical solutions including government, education, health, manufacturing, banking and finance, and retail sectors.

“Drawing on my experience as SMB and Channel Manager, I will continue to work closely with our dedicated channel network and sales team to help implement strategies to support our continued success and increase our footprint throughout both Australia and New Zealand”, said Carmel.

Carmel will report directly to Chin Hon-Cheng, Lexmark Vice President, Asia Pacific.

Commenting on the appointment, Chin Hon-Cheng said, “We are thrilled to have Carmel as our General Manager for ANZ. With her extensive experience in enterprise sales and general management, Carmel will play an integral role in the continual success of Lexmark in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Lexmark, Carmel held a number of senior enterprise sales positions at Fuji Xerox Australia and Lexmark Australia.
