BP Drops Petrol
Prices

today by 3 cents per litre at BP owned service
stations.

"We are pleased to be able to reduce our retail prices today. While the cost of refined fuel has actually increased, this has been offset by the strength of the New Zealand dollar," said BP Oil NZ Managing Director Mike McGuinness.
"BP welcomes the opportunity to pass on
these saving to our customers," he said. "We realise the
impact that fuel has on family budgets and hope this will
offer some relief during the school holidays."
"Pump prices are made up of a number of factors, including the international price of petrol and diesel, the US/NZ exchange rate, and taxes and levies We monitor these costs all the time and we're committed to passing on any decreases in those costs to motorists as quickly as possible."
