Smart Power and Energy Select are delighted to announce that as of 1 October 2011, Energy Select has merged with the Smart Power Australasia group of companies.
With more emphasis by business on energy, sustainability and carbon accounting on both sides of the Tasman, both companies are merging their wealth of energy industry knowledge and expertise to benefit both new and existing customers
The Smart Power Australasia group of companies now including Energy Select has a team of qualified energy management specialists, available to drive down energy consumption and costs at client's sites. The use of e-Smart, a web based energy management reporting system allows Smart Power Australasia’s clients more transparency of energy trends and costs. Smart Power Australasia’s energy procurement advice and tenant billing services will continue for existing customers and Smart Power’s accredited energy auditors, technical expertise, bill verification and bill payment services are extended as options for Energy Select’s customers.
Energy Select was founded in 2000 and Shaun Hayward has been sole director since 2007. Prior to this Shaun was Operations Manager for Mercury Energy, where he started as a Sales and Trading Analyst in 1996. Shaun is a registered financial advisor and is able to offer advice on energy Hedges and electricity spot market risk analysis which will be a further benefit to Smart Power’s customers. Energy Select are Electricity Commission certified for Reconciliation Participant (Retailer and Embedded Network obligations) and Distributor (Network and Embedded Network) auditing services. Energy Select will continue to operate from its offices in Westhaven, Auckland.
