Low Price Sections in Quality Te Anau Subdivision

Press Release from The Delta, Te Anau
For immediate release 21st October, 2013

Developer Offers Low Price Sections in Quality Te Anau Subdivision

A unique lakeside development and one of Te Anau’s largest residential subdivisions is back in the spotlight with sections being released for sale this Labour Weekend (October 24-27) allowing buyers to invest in a luxury lifestyle destination at affordable prices.

The Delta subdivision, located just one kilometre north west of Te Anau township has been redeveloped by original shareholder Adam Fairmaid, who is spearheading the revitalisation of the development which has languished during the past five years.

“I was one of the original developers of The Delta in 2003 and sold my share only to watch the remainder of the subdivision fall victim to the depressed property market and remain unfinished for several years.”

Recently I was given the opportunity, along with new business partners Warren Bates, Wayne Oxenham, and Scott Murray, to reinvest in the subdivision and we are providing a fresh vision for the lifestyle community along with some exciting investment opportunities for people who want to live there.”

“We have worked extremely hard to finish the area which now looks fantastic and offers an incredible opportunity for anyone keen to purchase a premium section in a high quality subdivision at an excellent price,” says Mr Fairmaid.

Close to Te Anau and bordering a reserve, with stunning lake views to the mountains beyond, the sections have been developed on the premier lakeside location neighbouring the World Heritage Fiordland National Park,

An attractive central park area covering just over three hectares, complete with its own recreational lake, is an integral part of the development blending with the waterfront to create an open communal living space.

Extensive landscaping, native trees and outstanding walking and mountain bike tracks have been incorporated into the new look subdivision. A lakeside track connecting The Delta to Te Anau’s town centre is popular with both walkers and bikers.

Adam Fairmaid says 20 sections will be released for sale on Saturday October 26.

“Recent indications suggest the property market is on the rise again and for buyers and investors this is a good time to be getting back into the market. We make no bones about the fact that we will be selling on price. The cost price of a newly developed section anywhere in the South Island is now well in excess of $100,000.
and taking into consideration service costs, council fees, GST and real estate fees, as well as the purchase value of the land, the total cost of a Delta property is upwards of $120 000.”

The Delta is prepared to sell some sections for as low as $55,00 with the majority being sold down under $80,000 at the Labour Weekend sale.

“This is great value and the ideal opportunity for people to purchase for investment or to build a family home, retirement or holiday house. The feedback is that we are back on track with The Delta and the sale is expected to attract strong interest from around the region.
