Inaugural inductees to Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame announced
Eight regional businesses recognised for sustained business excellence
The first eight businesses to be inducted into the Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame have been announced. They will be officially honoured at a gala Hall of Fame dinner hosted at the Petone Working Man’s Club on Friday July 10, 2015.
The eight companies – recognised for delivering business excellence – are:

The Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame has been created by the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce with the support of principal sponsors Deloitte Private.
Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Mark Futter says these inaugural eight companies are fantastic examples of businesses that not only contribute to the regional economy but also to the overall health of their respective local communities.
“The aim of the Hall of Fame is to recognise and celebrate significant contributions by businesses to the economic and social fabric of our region,” says Mr Futter.
“These eight businesses showcase the diversity, dedication and resilience required to have a meaningful impact on the global villages in which we all live, work and play.”
Deloitte Private Partner Mark Lash says it is an honour to support this initiative.
“Celebrating business success is something that we consider is very important and that we don’t do enough of as a country. The Hall of Fame initiative is a great way of recognising business excellence and success in the Wellington region,” says Mr Lash.
