Preet & Co now Harcourts’ fastest growing franchise

5 October 2016

Preet Grewal, standing, welcomes the Harcourts Howick, Pakuranga and Meadowlands offices to Preet & Co.

At just 33 years old he is already one of the youngest Harcourts’ business owners in the country.

And now Preet Grewal has successfully turned his business into the fastest growing Harcourts franchise in New Zealand.

Harcourts Preet & Co, which already owns the Manukau, Otahuhu, Botany and Ellerslie offices, has taken over the established Harcourts offices in Howick, Meadowlands and Pakuranga.

Preet & Co purchased the offices from Harcourts Eastzone Realty, which was co-owned by real estate veteran David Clifton, who is moving on after 17 years with Harcourts.

One of the skills Preet prides himself on is the ability to recognise talent in people, and he is thrilled to be working with the team of sales consultants and property managers already established in the Howick, Meadowlands and Pakuranga offices.

“They are a hard-working, passionate team and they do their very best by their clients, which means they are a perfect fit for Harcourts Preet & Co.”

It’s been a whirlwind of success for Preet since founding Preet & Co in April 2012. He opened the Harcourts Manukau office with a team of just four people and then went on a recruitment drive, only choosing people he saw passion and potential in to join Preet & Co.

Within 12 months one of his team, Harsimran Singh, was named the “Rising Star” of Harcourts in Auckland, as well as runner-up for the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand’s Rising Star award.

By September 2014 Preet was ready to expand and he opened the Harcourts Otahuhu office. Two months later he launched Harcourts Botany.

Earlier this year he purchased the established Harcourts Ellerslie office, and just this month Harcourts Howick, Meadowlands and Pakuranga.

“All my team have incredible talent and truly want to give the very best service to our clients. It’s our goal to create clients for life by delivering a result which surpasses expectations every time,” Preet says.

Harcourts CEO Chris Kennedy says he is in awe of Preet, who operates his business with energy and ambition.

“One of the things you quickly come to recognise about Preet is how good he is to his team and the loyalty they show in return. He is a success because of the people he chooses and the integrity with which he runs his business. The Howick, Pakuranga and Meadowlands offices are in for an exciting time ahead.”
