Big Wednesday Jackpots To More Than $6 Million

Big Wednesday Jackpots To More Than $6 Million In Cash And Luxury Prizes

Big Wednesday First Division has jackpotted to $4.5 million cash plus over $1.5 million in luxury prizes for next Wednesday's draw, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay said.

$500,000 has been added to the Big Wednesday First Division prizes on offer next week, making the total First Division prize pool worth more than $6 million.

At the next draw, on 11 October 2006, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $4.5 million;
- Porsche 911 Carrera;
- Range Rover Vogue V8;
- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years;
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- a Mustang luxury launch; and
- a $500,000 bach

In addition, Big Wednesday Second Division has also jackpotted and next week's prize will be worth more than $280,000.

A player who bought their Big Wednesday ticket at Pak N Save Lower Hutt has won $25,000 in tonight's Big Wednesday second chance draw.

The winning serial number is 399-07824390-13XX.

This is the second week in a row that a ticket sold in Lower Hutt has won the Big Wednesday second chance draw. Last week a ticket sold at Hutt City New World won its owner a Mercedes-Benz.

Every ticket bought for tonight's draw was entered in the second chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection did not match the coin toss in the draw, they won $25,000.

"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Pak N Save Lower Hutt should check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.

There were a total of 68,112 winners from tonight's draw.
