Youthline Seeks Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park Volunteers - Auckland
Coordinating over 400 volunteers for one night is no mean feat.

This is the job assigned to Youthline youth worker Caleb Butcher who is coordinating volunteer efforts at this year’s Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on December 8, where Youthline has been chosen as the recipient charity and will be collecting donations from the crowd.

Youthline works with young people and their families providing support services, information, and development programmes, helping young people to reach their potential.

Caleb is canvassing the community for volunteers needed on the night to help Youthline continue their work across Auckland and throughout New Zealand.

Caleb says the evening is heaps of fun and volunteers are well looked after on the night, receiving food and refreshments, while the money from the event will be used to help fund youth work and mentoring services.

“The appeal helps us to get out into the community and help young people. The people who help out on the night are ambassadors of our organisation and the work that we do, so they need to be responsible, honest and friendly,” he says.

To volunteer for Youthline at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park email Caleb@youthline.co.nz or call 09 376 6645.
