TVNZ Increases Wimbledon Coverage

TV ONE has added comprehensive weekend highlights packages and early morning updates to its Wimbledon coverage.
A full hour of highlights will screen on TV ONE this Saturday the 27th of June at 2:30pm, Sunday the 28th of June at 3pm and Saturday the 4th of July at 2:30pm and daily highlights of the overnight play from Wimbledon will be played during Breakfast every morning at 6:50am starting Monday.
A one hour highlights package of the women’s singles finals day will screen on Sunday the 5th of July at 2pm and a one hour highlights package of the men’s singles finals day on Monday night the 6th of July at 11pm.
The additional coverage has been added as a response to viewer demand, “We have received many requests from Wimbledon fans across New Zealand asking for more tennis so we’ve reworked the schedule and added highlights packages every day of the tournament in addition to our existing coverage”.
TVNZ is providing Wimbledon coverage
across three different platforms:
TV ONE – live tennis from London on TV ONE from midnight – 6am, one hour highlights every weekend day, weekday updates at 6:50am on Breakfast
TVNZ Sports Extra on the Freeview platform – replays and highlights
