On Q + A this Anzac Day:
Q+A marks Anzac Day with a rare interview with the Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force. Paul Holmes talks to Lieutenant General Jerry Mateparae via satellite from Gallipoli. The commander of our armed forces will remember past wars and discuss wars still being fought.
89 year old, World War II stretcher-bearer Denis Bounsall and author Brendan O’Carroll will be in studio to discuss Brendan’s book Khaki Angels – it honours the gallantry of these unsung heroes, the men who went to war without any weapons but were regularly in the line of fire risking their lives to save our soldiers.
Former Alliance cabinet minister and diplomat Sandra Lee and former National deputy prime minister Wyatt Creech join Paul and Dr Therese Arseneau on the panel.
Q + A is broadcast live 9-10am Sunday on TV ONE and repeated at 9.10pm on Sunday nights and 10.10am and 2.10pm on Mondays on TVNZ 7.
(TVNZ 7 screens on Freeview Channel 7 and Sky TV Channel 97).
