The U19/U21 and U17 NZ Age Group Championships held in Dunedin and Papakura respectively were a great success.
Hundreds of players from around New Zealand played with passion and pride to represent their region or centre, resulting in a fantastic atmosphere at both events.
Well done to Auckland Waitakere for taking out all three events. All finals were closely fought, especially the U17 final which came down to the last minute when Auckland Waitakere scored in the dying seconds to put them one point ahead of a persistant Wellington Netball Centre.
It was great to see so many supporters and volunteers. The help Netball New Zealand recieved from Netball Otago and Netball Counties Manukau was highly appreciated.
