Vodafone and Dane Rumble celebrate 30 Days of Music with billboard concert
Auckland pedestrians will have a lunch time treat on Thursday as local pop-star, Dane Rumble, takes the stage on a billboard to celebrate the month that was - Vodafone’s 30 Days of Music.
Dane will be performing the
high-altitude FREE gig on the corner of Fort Street and
Commerce Street at 12:30pm on Thursday 30
September.
“I’ve played at a lot of locations
in Auckland but never on a billboard so it will be an
interesting gig for me. I will be doing vigorous safety
checks before I hit the stage, that’s for sure!” says
Dane.
The month of music is part of Vodafone’s countdown to the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs), and offers Vodafone customers daily downloads, prizes, in-store signings, celebrity interviews, regional VNZMA Finalist’s Showcases and the chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award and present on stage at the VNZMAs.
Vodafone has also launched the first ever VNZMA iPhone app which can be downloaded at the iTunes App Store for FREE.
And of course don’t forget to vote for the People’s Choice Awards, it’s your one chance to have your say on who you want to win on the night.
You can vote in one of three ways:
1. Visit www.facebook.com/vodafonenz and click on your favourite artist to register your vote (one vote per person only)
2. Txt the name of the artist you want to win to 787 (txts are free for Vodafone customers and 20c for other networks).
