Beyonce [Not] in Wellington for the Day

PRESS RELEASE - BEYONCE IN WELLINGTON FOR THE DAY

This Sunday Beyonce snuck down to Wellington for the day from her stay in Auckland. She came to the capital to visit her step cousins, Nikolai L'Estrange and Nathan Winter; and to support their show "Destiny's Stepchild", that is on at The Fringe Bar next week. The visit was very short lived. The distant family member, Nathan Winter, greeted her at the airport and in a secret escort, he accompanied her out to Lower Hutt for morning tea with the family. In the afternoon she met up with Nikolai L'Estrange for a drink at the water front and soon after, left for Auckland again.

"She was very lovely and happy with hanging out for the day. The rest of the family were also very glad she made it over. It was really fantastic for her to come down to meet the long lost family and to support us before we go on and do our show next week; it sounds like she's gutted she'll miss it" - Nathan Winter

"Yea, we just chilled out and chatted about general stuff. It was all kept extremely secret, even I didn't know she was visiting until the day before." Nikolai L'Estrange

A bit about the show:

Destiny's Stepchild - 2 & 3 Dec, 8pm at The Fringe Bar
Yes you guessed it - the forgotten step-cousins of Destiny's Child are here; but they won't sing their way to your heart, they're going to make you laugh your pants off.
Stand up comedy performers Nikolai L'Estrange and Nathan Winter present a show about lady luck and her, well, absence. With only a mid-life crisis to look forward too, these two 30-something Wellingtonians have become increasingly interested in exploring the truth behind fate, luck and the universes hold on our existence. Book tickets through Event Finder.
