LANEWAY FESTIVAL IS ALMOST HERE…

In less than 2 weeks, Auckland’s Aotea Square will be alive with a musical experience not to be missed! Laneway Festival 2011 is jam packed with diverse forward thinking musical acts who will be performing to close to sold-out crowds. The following evening, the Wellington Town Hall will also play host to a premium selection of the festival line-up in a boutique side show second to none.

Band performance schedules have been released (see attached), plus the Auckland LANEWAY map with details of where the two stages are located for the best possible vantage point. Positioned with much consideration are 14 food stalls to provide Laneway attendees a huge variety of delicious cuisine, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the classic festival food ‘hot-dog and chips’.

This year Laneway Auckland is an R18 event, with no restricted drinking areas within the venue. There will be three separate bars set up to cater for festival goers throughout the day and into the evening.

Water stations, The Cassette Supermarket Markets, Band merchandise stands, and toilets will be located throughout Aotea Square on the day, with the shady tree and grass areas left for people to sit under, relax and take shelter from the sun.

Pass Outs will be available from early evening. Times will be clearly displayed on the day of LANEWAY FESTIVAL.WELLINGTON LANEWAY at the Wellington Town Hall is an ALL AGES event. A great range of food will also be offered to punters.
