Countdown On For First Week Of New Zealand Fashion Festival

Countdown On For First Full Week Of New Zealand Fashion Festival

With just 19 days to go, the full schedule has been released and tickets are on sale for the New Zealand Fashion Festival (NZFF).

Designed for, and fully open to the public, NZFF is headlined by four Fashion Collections shows presented by the country’s top fashion magazines and featuring some 32 high end and ‘High Street’ designers, from Adrian Hailwood through Kimberleys to Zambesi.

In celebration of the week long format, organisers Pieter and Myken Stewart have introduced the M.A.C Beauty Seminar and the VIDCOM Business Breakfast at Clooney - with guest speakers Karyn Hay and Rod Drury (Xero) - to the event.

The accompanying NZFF Super City Programme runs throughout the week and will see the public able to meet designers, get gifts with purchase and attend both free and ticketed events in the BIG little City (central city), Karangahape Road, Newmarket, Ponsonby and Remuera. Full details of the Super City Programme will be published in a dedicated NZFF magazine, to be distributed in selected Auckland copies of next Monday's New Zealand Herald (March 7).

The ever-popular Designer Garage Sale will bookend NZFF on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March and takes place at Shed 6, 90 Wellesley Street - the same venue as the Collections Shows. Entry is by gold coin with proceeds to charity.

The Shed Five Speed Shop, upper deck 90 Wellesley Street West is the official NZFF bar open each night from 6pm for guests to enjoy a drink before the show, and have time to enjoy the sampling activity and visual feast of vintage and modified motorcycles, cars and graffiti art.
