Mai TV Awarded Streaming Rights to Exporter of the Year Awards

Fijian broadcaster Mai TV has been awarded TV partner status of the 2011 TFL Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards, which is scheduled to take place on the 26th of November this year.

In another milestone for the event and the 4-year old broadcaster, Mai TV has been awarded the right to stream the event LIVE on the internet for global viewers.

“The decision by Investment Fiji shows clear confidence in Mai TV’s streaming services. We continue to set the pace in IP products in the region now delivering LIVE streaming from events such as the 2011 TFL Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards”, CEO Richard Broadbridge said.

The LIVE streaming of the 2011 Awards, which is one of the many high profile events that Mai TV has streamed and will stream this year. Others include several Oceania Football events in Fiji and New Zealand, Fiji Football’s Fiji FACT, a streaming project in Samoa and Mai TV LIVE.

“Along with our new business Click Digital Signage, LIVE streaming has become a new revenue line for the company. We also do small jobs like LIVE wedding streaming for families who can’t make it to the actual event”, Broadbridge added.

Investment Fiji, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ravuni Uluilakeba in his Vote of Thanks Speech last night at the Suva 2011 EYA Launch thanked MaiTV for its valuable contribution and support towards this prestigious Event, an Event that recognizes and rewards exporters for their outstanding contribution towards Fiji’s economy
