Wellington Blaze squad for fourth round Action Cricket competitions
The Wellington Blaze squad to play the Auckland Hearts in round four of the 2011-12 domestic Women’s Action Cricket Cup One-Day and Action Cricket Twenty20 competitions on 1, 2 and 3 January 2012 is:

In one addition to the Wellington Blaze squad that played in the last round against the Canterbury Magicians, Thamsyn Newton comes in for these home matches at Kelburn Park.
This round shapes as an important one for both the Auckland Hearts and Wellington Blaze who are second and third respectively on both women’s domestic points tables with two full rounds to play including this one before the domestic women’s finals.
The Blaze are coming off three defeats in the previous round this week to frontrunners the Canterbury Magicians and the Hearts overcame the Central Hinds in all three of their encounters.
The Action Cricket Twenty20 points table after six matches and three rounds is:
Canterbury Magicians 22, Auckland Hearts 18, Wellington Blaze 16, Northern Spirit 10, Central Hinds 6, Otago Sparks 0.
