Proceeds from celebrity psychic’s book launch for Rotorua Library

ROTORUA 10.04.13: Celebrity psychic and medium Kelvin Cruickshank is launching his new book ‘Inside the Medium’ in Rotorua next week and donating proceeds from the event to Rotorua District Library.

The book launch is at Rotorua Convention Centre on Wednesday 17 April at 5.30pm and Mr Cruickshank, a former Rotorua resident, will be signing copies of ‘Inside the Medium’ afterwards.

Library marketing and promotions officer Sue Heke said when Mr Cruickshank’s publishers offered the library the chance to again host one of his book events, it was a fundraising opportunity too good to pass up.

“We had a full house when we hosted Kelvin two years ago. And even though it was a book launch, he still managed to slip in some psychic readings for a few lucky audience members, as well as talk about his books.

“His earlier three titles are very popular with our library members and our six copies have been borrowed more than 250 times in total - which equates to a lot of interest. We’ve already had at least a dozen requests for his latest book.

“As Kelvin’s fan base continues to grow, we expect another sell-out crowd so I encourage local people to purchase tickets quickly to avoid disappointment.”

Kelvin Cruikshank’s book launch for ‘Inside the Medium’ is at 5.30pm on Wednesday 17 April at the Rotorua Convention Centre.

Tickets are $23 (plus booking fee) and can be purchased from the Convention Centre’s Ticketmaster outlet.
