NZ's Got Talent: Semi Final One Voting

The fate of the New Zealand’s Got Talent performers is in the hands of the public, starting from Sunday night at 7.30pm on TV ONE. The first six Semi-Finalists are ready to take the stage with a new act, and there’s plenty of time to vote for your favourites, with voting lines staying open until midnight on Monday.

The judges are ready to be tougher with their critiques at this stage of the competition, and they want to see that their Top 30 acts have made progress since their auditions. Cris Judd says; “Will I use my buzzer in the semi-finals? If I see an act that hasn’t stepped up the game a little bit, absolutely I’m going to use my buzzer! We want to be entertained, right?”

Fellow judge Jason Kerrison also has high expectations, saying; “This is the Semi-Finals, so what we hope for is that, as artists, they completely step up, they blow us away, and they leave nothing in the tank.”

The acts we’ll be seeing for a second time this Sunday are:

- Liquid hip hop dancer from Pukekohe, Mayo
- Singer from Wellington, Renee Maurice
- Hip hop/Indian dance crew from Auckland, 50/50
- Unicycling duo Mike Padial and Christian Huriwai, from Nelson and Kaikohe
- Dancer/martial artist from Auckland, Ravi
- Singing duo from Hutt Valley, Diamond Divas

The three performers with the most votes from the public will be announced on stage ahead of the following week’s Semi Final. Host Tamati Coffey will reveal who won the most votes, and they will go directly into the Grand Final. Then the judges are faced with selecting one of the remaining two acts to join them.

Each text costs 99c, and you can vote as many times as you like. Voting opens at 7.30pm on Sunday 20 October, and closes at midnight on Monday 21st.
