ASB Bank and Waterfront Auckland are delighted to be bringing ASB Santa’s Bach back to life in Wynyard Quarter this festive season.

Santa and his elves have once again decided to ditch the cold and join us for a classic kiwi Christmas by the sea. This year, Mrs Claus is making the journey too all the way from the North Pole to set up home in Wynyard Quarter leading up to their busiest day of the year.

From Friday 5 December, children of all ages will be able to visit the incredible customised ASB Santa’s Bach (built into Silo 7); helping Santa and his team get ready for the big delivery night on Dec 24.

ASB Santa’s Bach has gone through some renos since its first outing in 2013. Still offering up four unique spaces, this fully immersive experience has more entertainment and more interactive experiences on offer for kiwi kids of all ages. One of which is a new area bought to you by ASB, where families can work with one of Santa’s elves to create something special to take home.

“Hang out with Mrs Claus in her kitchen – she’s had to do some tidying after the Elves were left in charge last year, but now she’s very excited to start baking some magical treats and inviting people over to show them what she’s done with the place…. After making a glittering Christmas creation step into the Roof Room and take a wild ride on a sleigh for your elf fight training experience. Land in Santa’s HQ and witness the explosive magic of the Incredible Present Shrinking Machine. Hang with the Big Man himself and exit into the Reindeer garden.”

ASB Santa’s Bach embraces the true spirit of Christmas by asking families to bring a gold coin donation or present for the Auckland City Mission - so we can help make sure no one goes without this holiday season.

The Wynyard Christmas Quarter will host fun filled family events – with a myriad of food vendors, Christmas Markets, fantastic offering from the kids of Auckland on the Gantry, music and surprises. Bring your family down to the Wynyard Christmas Quarter this December and see Christmas in a brand new light.

NB: Santa is a busy man – there will be times where he’ll have to take off with his elves to do some Christmas errands of his own. Make sure you check the ASB Santa’s Bach schedule from the 25th November before you make the special journey down to see Santa.
