New Zealand have one hand on Trophy!
Stellenbosch, South Africa, 3rd April 2016 - The New Zealand Underwater Hockey Women’s Team (Silver Fins) have taken the world by storm once again. The defending world champions beat France 7-0 in the semi-final to proceed into the final against host nation South Africa at 2am NZ Time on Sunday the 3rd of April 2016.
The woman are favourites to take the final, after winning all games up to this point convincingly. Fans will be able to tune in to watch the women attempt back to back world championship wins just like the All Blacks achieved.
The New Zealand Elite Men’s Team (the Black Fins) were upset by Great Britain in the Quarter Final, losing 5-4. They then defeated the Netherlands to face the previous champions France in a playoff for 5th, coming out with a 4-0 win.
