Auckland, 3 November 2011 - Orion Health's continuing success is putting it at the top of its game, with CEO Ian McCrae, describing Orion Health as a "global eHealth company" and the leading healthcare IT software vendor in health information exchange.

Orion Health's global operating revenues were up 28% on the first six months of the financial year to September 2011.

The Australian market, on the back of the recently announced national EHR PCEHR (personally controlled electronic health record) project, made up most of that increase with 48% of the company's revenue in the first half of the year coming from Asia Pacific.

In New Zealand, the company is ranked in the annual TIN 100 report as one of the top three fastest growing tech companies.

Orion Health is on an aggressive staff recruitment programme as the company continues to expand and win further work. It is currently seeking more than 100 developers, implementation, project management staff both in New Zealand headquarters and abroad.
