Dear Graham
I am very disturbed indeed that you are openly urging Grey Power members not to vote for one of the major parties, but to exercise their vote in favour of one of the small parties in the forthcoming general election.
As I think I have said to you previously, at least one of the small parties is trying to bribe older New Zealanders with promises that they have no capacity to deliver on. You suggest that the small party has most of the power in a coalition government. I can assure you that, while building a coalition obviously takes give and take on both sides, the National Party will not be bullied by any small party into policies which are grossly irresponsible.
I very much regret that Grey Power has chosen to nail its colours so overtly in support of New Zealand First.
Yours Sincerely
Don Brash
