Photo Essay: Thousands Turn Out To Stop Cricket Tour
Images and Audio: Around two thousand people took part in a protest in Auckland today called by Global Peace and Justice Auckland and the Green Party against a planned tour of Zimbabwe by New Zealand Cricket. The protest march gathered at Myers Park on Queen St and was attended by foreign minister Phil Goff.

cricket great, Henry Olonga, and Sir Garfield Todd's
daughter, Judith Todd, led protests today against a New
Zealand cricket tour of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe's Judith Todd
(Daughter of Sir Garfield Todd) thanks New Zealanders for
taking a stand against the Robert Mugabe regime.
Zimbabwe former cricket great,
Henry Olonga, sang a song of thanks to New Zealanders for
being the first to speak out against the Mugabe regime's
injustices in his homeland.

of sporting contact with Zimbabwe.
