This afternoon the Maori Party called a press conference to announce that their attempt to repeal the Foreshore and Seabed Act would not be supported by New Zealand's largest opposition party National. Maori Party Co-Leader Tariana Turia told reporters she was 'incredibly disappointed with the position National has taken.'
