Dealing With Bills Ahead Of The Budget

The Government is looking to clear some legislation off the Order Paper ahead of the Budget on Thursday.

Today after Question Time MPs will complete the second reading of the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa Bill.

This will be followed by the second reading of the Crown Entities Reform Bill, first reading of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Covered Bonds) Amendment Bill and second reading of the Arms (Military Style Semi-automatic Firearms and Import Controls) Amendment Bill.
