Liquor And Bail Petitions Presented

When Parliament resumed at 2pm petitions calling for law changes on liquor and bail were presented.

The petition of Tina Nilson and 988 others asked the House support the proposed amendment to the Alcohol Reform Bill which seeks to restore 20 years of age as the minimum legal age for all categories of liquor purchases in New Zealand. There was also petition calling for a review of bail laws and that judges have their performance reviewed.

Social Security (Youth Support and Work Focus) Amendment Bill by the Social Services Committee

Reserve Bank of New Zealand's Financial Stability Report, May 2012 by the Finance and Expenditure Committee

2010/11 financial review of the Capital and Coast District Health Board, the Hutt District Health Board, and the Wairarapa District Health Board by the Health Committee
