Same stuff different day

Don Brash MP
National Party Leader

10 May 2006

Same stuff different day

National Party Leader Don Brash says the document tabled by Winston Peters is yesterday’s news reheated.

Mr Peters has referred to a note attached to the e-mail he released yesterday.

“The two people referred to by the Foreign Affairs Minister were pitching for a job working for the National Party.

“We didn’t hire them.

“As far as I am concerned, any job applicant is entitled to confidentiality and that is why I did not release the document yesterday. Anybody is entitled to pitch for work. It doesn’t necessarily mean they have any prospect of being offered a job,” says Dr Brash.
