EMISSIONS TRADING – what is happening?
EMISSIONS TRADING – what is
happening?
The government is engaging with the public, stakeholders and Māori on the proposal for a New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS). This engagement will initially lead to the introduction of legislation into Parliament, but will be a long-term process, as sectors enter the NZ ETS and it is refined and implemented.
