Governor General And World Cup Bill To Be Debated

The first bill up for debate when Parliament resumes today is the committee stage of the Governor-General Bill.

The Bill repeals and replaces Part 1 of the Civil List Act 1979 to reform the financial arrangements for the support of the Governor-General.

After Question Time other business on the Order Paper includes the committee stage of the Rugby World Cup 2011 (Empowering) Bill.
