Naval Task Group approaching China

HMNZ Ships TE MANA and ENDEAVOUR are approaching China for the last in a series of defence diplomacy visits for the New Zealand Task Force. The ships berth in Shanghai, China at 1:00pm Friday 17 June, and depart Tuesday 21 June.

The Ships’ Maori Cultural Group, whose performances have been the highlight for many local and expatriate visitors during the series of diplomatic visits, will perform at an official function onboard TE MANA.

TE MANA will conduct ship tours for visitors on Sunday and Monday.

The last New Zealand warship to visit Shanghai was TE KAHA in 2002.
