“Body Guard to the Stars” on anti violence mission

Release: March 5th 2007

“Body Guard to the Stars” on a mission to protect Kiwis against violence.

The STAMP programme: a first for New Zealand - six simple moves for safety.

In the international world of close personal protection, this brawny New Zealander is simply called Tempero. A man upon whom the super-rich and famous have depended for their safety. And the savvy Tempero has a list of clients as impressive as his muscly, tattooed arm.

The Bertarelli family of Alinghi fame used him to handle their personal security in Dubai. The royal family of Brunei have used him on many occasions. So too have celebrities including Michael Jackson, Elton John, Whitney Houston, Sting, and Stevie Wonder.

Now Wayne Tempero is back in NZ empowering us all to keep ourselves safe, with seminars and a DVD release showcasing his superb STAMP programme.

“The risk of violence in this country is totally unacceptable,” says Tempero. “ But I show people how to handle themselves when confronted by an attacker.”

Tempero is an intelligent, personable man. He’s available to talk to you about the world of close personal protection, and what Kiwis should be doing for themselves.

The STAMP DVD takes you through six simple steps, learned in an hour, helping adults and children to protect themselves. “This is unique – I’m not teaching people how to fight, but how to get out of an aggressive situation.” There’s already strong demand for his STAMP seminars, with companies sending groups of staff members to empower themselves. Corporate clients include Saatchi and Saatchi, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and AUT, and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Tempero has now even designed a special STAMP programme for children, which he’s taking to the USA.
