TV ONE’s new Sunday morning political show, Q & A will be presented by TVNZ’s political editor, Guyon Espiner; political analyst, Therese Arseneau and the country’s most popular broadcaster, Paul Holmes.

The programme is being produced by TVNZ News and Current Affairs and replaces Agenda.

“Q & A is a fresh new format that will challenge and engage viewers and appeal to an audience that is interested in politics and how the decisions made in Wellington affect us all”, says TVNZ’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery.

The hour long programme will be LIVE and feature a flagship political interview with Guyon Espiner, a long form interview with people involved in the political life of NZ conducted by Paul Holmes and a panel debate moderated by Canterbury University Political Scientist, Therese Arseneau.

“The panel will include high profile kiwis from all sectors – industry, community, business, welfare, unions, religion, education, charity – basically the people who are actively involved in New Zealand and make decisions that influence our lives rather than sideline commentators or observers”.
