Dear Interested Parties, both Maori and Non Maori.

I see that some New Zealand Government constituents are quicker to come to the party than some other Maori (and Non Maori) Party members who are no doubt nursing their wounded pride at not having founded the MDOI themselves. For the record, I will recognize all goodwill toward the signing of the Maori Declaration Of Independence 2008 in 2009 - both Maori and non-Maori.

For the record, I do carry both Maori and non-Maori heritage, however, such combined afiliation does not in any way, shape or form, deter me from my course of fighting for ancient, historic and indigenous Maori rights and freedom from oppression.

I am writing the Maori Declaration Of Independence 2008 on canvas, so that it can sit right next to the Treaty Of Waitangi and be preserved over the many eternities of Maori future. What dya reckon Hone? Once again, my apologies for the belittling Hone-come-lately comment, but I owed you for attacking my credibility and good intentions without just cause. And we're still not even for that yet.

Do the maths people. Once the Maori Declaration Of Independence has been signed by all Maori Tribes throughout Aotearoa, the following benefits take place for Maori:

• All land is automatically returned without question. Those tribes who accepted payouts for their previously confiscated land, can either pay that money back, or put it towards the cost of renting their land to Government, and/or harm and suffering done to their tribes.
• Maori can then insist on obtaining rent from which ever business and/or residential property that is occupying their land. I insist that this will be the occupation of the Maori Government Of Aotearoa - NOT the individual or tribe, so that the process is a peaceful one.
• Maori will no longer be required to pay NZ Government Taxes, and NZ Government will need to enter into a system of paying the Maori Government Of Aotearoa, a portion of the taxes that they collect from their people.
• Maori Government Of Aotearoa will continue to charge taxes to the Maori people, at a rate that will be settled upon by those in Maori Government.
• New Zealand Government will have ABSOLUTELY NO JURISDICTION over Maori whatsoever.
• Negotiations will be entered into by the Maori Government Of Aotearoa and the New Zealand Government Of Aotearoa in order to ensure an amicable and co-dependent relationship abides.
• The number of Maori schools throughout the country will increase substantially.
• But perhaps best of all, is the fact that our Maori Declaration Of Independence 2008 will be just as legit as the New Zealand Declaration Of Independence 1835, and will supersede the expired Treaty Of Waitangi 1840. Yeeee hooooo!!!
These are just some of the reasons that Maori now have to jump up and down and shout - there is a God!!!

It is my wish that New Zealand Government will graciously accept the new changes taking place in the political landscape of this country.
