Auckland Mayor in the Chair in Blockhouse Bay

5 March 2012

Mayor in the Chair in Blockhouse Bay

Len Brown is heading to Blockhouse Bay on Thursday 15 March for a Mayor in the Chair session.

The Mayor will be in front of the Blockhouse Bay Library (inside if wet) from midday until 1pm.

Mayor in the Chair events are informal lunchtime sessions that allow people to get face to face with their mayor. People are invited to come along, wait their turn, then have a brief one-on-one chat with Len Brown, to ask questions or share their thoughts and concerns about their community. They are held regularly in different locations around Auckland.

“I am always thrilled when people come up and chat to me about their thoughts and opinions on Auckland, whether it’s during Mayor in the Chair or when I am out and about generally. It’s really important to me to get direct input and feedback from Aucklanders about their local and regional concerns.”

The Mayor will set up his chairs outside the Blockhouse Bay Library, 578 Blockhouse Bay Rd from midday until 1pm on Thursday 15 March. If it is raining, Mayor in the Chair will take place inside the library.
