New Zealand issues, music, places and community events all on one site

kiwitube with it's distinctly New Zealand content will allow users to not only post their homemade videos but also videos that promote and showcase local music, community events, and culture. kiwitube member's can also upload videos to show friends or family members on a private link.

With it's New Zealand focus, kiwtube allows both New Zealanders and an international audience a chance to see New Zealand made video and to discuss New Zealand based topics.

Video Sharing in Politics

Video sharing sites are starting to have a huge impact on overseas politics. With New Zealand's election next year, kiwitube will provide the centralized venue for New Zealand interest groups and politicians to express their views on important political and election issues.

Buy and Sell With Video

kiwitube also provides the first chance for New Zealanders to upload their own video of cars, boats and houses for sale. Video enables buyers to clearly see items for sale and each for sale category has its own channel.

Business Promotion for New Zealand via Video Sharing Format

kiwitube will be the first centralised website and video sharing service for New Zealand business and tourist ventures to promote themselves via video. Initial Idea

The initial idea for kiwitube came when making video for musician friends and for friends competing in local motor sport. It just didn't make sense to be putting New Zealand made video on an overseas owned and USA based site. New Zealand's popular and relevant videos should be here for kiwis to see on their own New Zealand focused and based site.

kiwitube Ltd was founded in March 2007 and the first members were invited to join on August 19th, 2007.
