welcome the minister here. Ethiopia is a country with which
we have very long ties, and have, in recent years, developed
a very close working relationship on a number of important
issues. And I’m looking forward to speaking both with the
minister and his colleagues, who are here on a very
important delegation to the United States.

would be extremely fruitful in touching base on issues that
are of crucial importance both to the United States and
Africa and in Ethiopia.
