NZ Defence Force Personnel Depart for Timor-Leste

The tenth rotation of NZ Defence Force personnel to serve in Timor-Leste will depart from Christchurch tomorrow.

Seventy-four NZ Defence Force personnel will head away for a six month tour of duty with the International Stabilisation Force (ISF) in Timor-Leste.

Media are invited to attend the farewell for Kiwi forces going to Timor-Leste.

When: 7am, Thursday 18 November 2010

Where: Burnham Military Camp, Christchurch

What: Farewell for the tenth rotation of NZDF personnel to Timor-Leste.

Media wishing to attend the departure must register with Nicole Munro (021) 569 148 before 3pm today (Wednesday 17 November 2010) to ensure access is available. Photo identification will be required on the day.
