No Aerial Operation On Wednesday 12 March Due To Weather Conditions
The general aerial operation to wipe out the painted apple moth, planned for Monday 10 March, has been delayed until Thursday 13 March at the earliest.
Rainy, windy conditions have grounded aircraft today (Tuesday 11 March) and tomorrow ((Wednesday 12 March). The situation will be continuously reviewed and the operation is expected to be carried out on Thursday 13 March or the soonest day that weather permits.
As usual during term-time, when operations resume, there will be no flying between 8.00 – 9.00am, 12.15 – 1.00pm and 300 – 4.00pm – lunch and travelling times for many school children.
