Te Pumaomao - the Nationhood Building seminar is on again for Hutt City's community groups.
Community Development, Hutt City Council in partnership with Hutt Valley Stopping Violence Services are pleased to host Takawai Murphy who will facilitate Te Pumaomao.

The workshop covers a wide range of topics including the Treaty of Waitangi, the Declaration of Independence, Colonisation/decolonisation and Language issues. The environment is safe, non-threatening and fun.
Whiti Turner says, "This is a very popular workshop and last year, places filled up quickly. The feedback we received was excellent, people really enjoyed themselves and they found the workshop interesting and relevant".
The seminar will take place at the Taita College Marae, Eastern Hutt Road, Lower Hutt and starts 9am Friday 31 October and finishes 3pm on Saturday 1 November.
The seminar costs $170 BUT for those who belong to a Hutt City community group and register and pay before 20 October the cost is only $50.
