Villa Maria Cult - Couture Captivates Large Audience
Budding designers successfully melded culture and high fashion together last Friday night and captivated an estimated audience of 700 hundred, at the second Villa Maria Cult – Couture Wearable Art Awards.
Awards organiser Leisa Siteine said “The event is about reflecting the diverse cultures and life of Manukau through a contemporary, wearable statement.
“The response to this year’s event has been awesome. Judges said the standard was higher than last year with standout entries reflecting months of hard work and creative inspiration”, said Ms Siteine.
