Stagecoach Buses Free On Christmas Day

This coming Thursday, Christmas Day, Stagecoach Auckland will run all its bus services for free, including The Link, as an end of year 'thank you' gesture to it¡¦s customers.

The free Christmas Day bus services will run on the normal Sunday timetable. Customers wanting to check timetable information should call rideline„§ on 366 6400 before December 25. The rideline service will not be operating on Christmas Day. Customers can always look at the Stagecoach website for timetable information however. The address is: www.stagecoach.co.nz

NITE RIDER BUSES OPERATE NEW YEARS EVE

Stagecoach will be running Nite Rider buses on New Year¡¦s Eve this year. Nite Rider buses will depart as normal from the stops outside the St. James and Civic Theatres on Queen Street between 1am and 3am, Thursday 1 January.

SPECIAL BUS SERVICES TO PIHA
FOR NATIONAL SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Stagecoach will be running special buses out to Piha Beach on each day of the National Surfing Championships, 3 to 11 January, from Britomart, Henderson and Scenic Drive.

Buses will leave Britomart at 9am & 1pm, Henderson (main stop on Gt. North Road) at 9.25am & 1.25pm and from the corner of Scenic Drive & Piha Road at 9.40am & 1.40pm. The one-way fares are $7.90 from Britomart, $5 from Henderson and $3.30 from the corner of Scenic Drive and Piha Road. No other passes can be used on this special service.

Buses depart Piha at 11.45am and 6pm from near the Piha Store.
